Lapsang Souchong (正山小种) Black Tea Unsmoked 50g
Originating in the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, China, Lapsang Souchong is considered to be the world’s first black tea. Harvested from high-elevation plantations, the leaves develop depth and structure in the cool mountain air. This unsmoked version highlights the leaves' natural aroma. The result is a bold infusion with notes of ripened longan fruit, mineral warmth and gentle pepperiness.
Leaf & Lute partners with Cha Yin Shan Fang to bring you this tea. Cha Yin Shan Fang is a third-generation independent tea plantation in the high Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, committed to sustainable cultivation and continuing traditional practices. The plantation operates without synthetic pesticides, prioritises soil regeneration, and preserves generation knowledge to produce authentic Chinese teas.
